Fall Lacrosse & Winter Soccer

It's finally happened! Mia started lacrosse this fall and she is enjoying it. It's been a fun thing for us us to do Saturday mornings and in time Micah will hopefully also be taking up the sport too:)

Micah did however start up soccer during the Winter season as Mia wrapped up her lacrosse season. He joined a unique team that consists of a predominatly Japanese lineup, lol! Now, not to brag, but this kid's got skillz!

Girl or boy...

For some reason when we had been trying to come up with names for the baby we could agree on the "if it's a boy", but whenever we tried to think of a "K" name for a girl something felt off about it. Kaleb it is then:)

Incoming!!!

I have been feeling a little out of lately...squeemish and yucky. We could say the pattern for the growth of our family is as follows: "Life changing event is followed by a new baby in our home". Take the birth of Mia for example, I finished school- literally day after the final internship day- and here came Miss Mi. Then Ed finished his Bachelors and here was Micah. The Masters program happened and I went to work. Shortly after, Ed graduated from the MFT program and Kyla was born AND we moved to our new home. Well, Ed got called as Bishop at the end of December and now, as it has been with the others, here comes our new little one. Yaaay!!! Pics to come...

Color Run 5k

Our first family race courtesy of it being Mahana's idea. We had a blast and survived; the kids were good sports about it all and will hopefully remember it. They can check off that one on their lists of "to-do's".
