Being out of town during the holidays seemed to be our tradition for the last couple of years, this year however we opted to stay in state. Our Christmas Eve was spent with the Callirgos and Jones family this year.We started off the evening with the dinner at Lina's home. While we waited for midnight to come around, we made cookies, the kids went out to the trampoline and got the sugar shaken out of them with how cold it was, lol! Anthony got the topics ready for charades, and we followed the game with taking turns reading the nativity story as 12 o'clock grew closer. I was very surprised that only one of the little ones didn't make it til midnight- quite frankly, I thought they would all be cranky and tired by then (lol!)but I think the Christmas spirit was definatley on their side, because all of them shared their new presents and expressed gratitude for whatever they received. Something very sweet to see on such a special night:)
