Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! and Wow! that's been 2 months in the making, lol! Well since the beginning of the new year we have had quite the kick off to a busy and growing 2014. So, to catch us up to today I have decided just to use pictures with brief descriptions/explanations of the events. Lets just consider this our New Year's time line of the last 3 months.
December- This year we were able to spend Christmas Eve at Nana & Tata's house and got to be with all the cousins. We stopped by Christmas day to Skype with Beecho since he's still out in the mission field. Waaay cool!
Disclaimer: No wild animals were hurt during the convesration, lol!!!
(Get it?! Cuz Levi's in Africa...Oh, nevermind...;)
New years eve was spent out in our backyard with everybody. We had the campfire going and brought out the marshmallows.
Mmmmmm....Toasty!
Our fireworks show this year was put on by none other then the Eagle scouts and Nestor, lol! Great Job!

January-
There was a little bit of this... you know who you are that was on the receiving end...with love!

Our family experienced a loss at the end of the month. We were saddened to receive the news that our 4 month old nephew/cousin Felipe had passed away. I can't say I've ever had to deal with a death so close to our family- yes I know that we have had other's, like grandparents, pass away, but when it's so unexpected
it can really take you for a loop. It was humbling to get Mia and Micah's perspective and understanding of what happens when somebody dies. This month I think our family grew a little closer and we were reminded of the importance of the temple, forever families, and our knowledge of the Heavenly Father's plan of happiness.
February-
As all of Arizona knows, Gilbert will soon be having a temple, yay!!! With that, we were blessed with the opportunity to attend the open house a few days before it would no longer be open to the public.
