So my beast of a car has been down for the past couple of days and as a result, we've had to improvise our "fun" and get creative with things we have around the house. Luckily, it's also the 4th of July this week so what better thing to do then get out the paints and stuff lying around the house to decorate. I sometimes surprise myself with my geniusness...
on Monday for our "FHE" activity we made our 4th of July Tshirts (a new tradition we hope to carry out from now on):

Tuesday we went a head and got out some paper plates and with the paint that was left over from Monday's craft, we made our "wreath" (more like a sign) for the door.
This is where my genius kicked in...yes the kids are wearing grocery bags as their painting aprons, lol!!! G!-nius! And yes, those are egg cartons holding the paint...
We totally went green for this activity... and our sign turned out just lovely:)
We'll see what we end our 4th of July celebration with tomorrow:)
