A day at the Museum

Today was an adventurous day for the 4 of us. We ventured out away from our usual Saturday routine and started off with a light jog around the track to kick off our day. Mia has become a fan of the track and we taught her how to do the take off phrase: En sus marcas...listos...FUERA! (On your marks...get set...GO!) At which point she takes off running on her tippies, which is always fun to watch, and finds her way to the next big number on the track and we repeat it all over again. Once we felt we were nice and sweaty we came home and got ready for the rest of the day.
What made this day super special is that we spent the majority of our day at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. It was all of our's first time going and it was a BLAST!! Mia loved playing with the kitchen and grocery stuff they have set up for everyone to play with. She really enjoyed making her own pizza out of the leftover fabrics and pizza mats they had. Micah couldn't do very much except sit and look around at all the different things and especially listen to the different sounds that were being made by all of the kids there. Either way, we could tell he was having a good time because the entire time we were there he didn't cry:)

During lunch time we went to the cafeteria and Mia found a giggle box that made the sound of a baby laughing. She found that box to be hilarious! Up until people started to it on the box, then she became concerned they were sitting on the baby, lol!

Who knows...maybe next Saturday we'll take a trip to the zoo;)
