Our trip to the Planetarium was Neat-o!
This year we decided to spend the Christmas break out East with Abuelitos Callirgos. We took off from our 70 degree weathered Arizona to 25 degree Connecticut. Our hope was for a white Christmas...all week it was nothing but sunny in the mornings and chilly in the afternoon. We were able to travel around town and see some of the different sites out here. With the chilly weather though it mostly consisted of hanging out at home and relaxing. Mia was super excited about the idea of snow, Santa and makikng a snowman. Well, Christmas day came AND....NO Snow! Abuelita Flor said that since the day was full of grey clouds we were going to be in for a real treat. She was right, it ended up snowing the day after Christmas, lol...and boy-oh-boy did it snow! The streets were piled high with the white little flakes, and the breeze that whirled by occasionally felt freezing and dry to our face. That sure didn't stop Mia! She woke up EXCITED! (to be honest I think she was more excited about snow then Santa coming). She lasted a good hour and a half or so playing outside in the snow. She made a snowman and ate the left over carrot she used to make the nose. Off in the back of the house there was a pile of snow that looked perfect for us to use as a ramp and use to slide down it. So we did! Micah even got to do it. It was tons of fun! I think Micah would've preferred to be in AZ though, he didn't like the snow suit, we're not sure how his cousin Elena survives in this weather;)
Did not expect her to stay out there for so long...
Micah came in as soon as he got the chance, AZ boy!
